The 10-year Army veteran broke his femur after a jump onto Holland Drop Zone in March 2013, but was recovered and running again in just nine months. He participated in a training jump at Fort Bragg later that year. He has completed the All-American Half Marathon and is training to run the New York City Marathon. Now, Fienco is also raising money for a nonprofit that raises money for disabled Rangers and Gold Start families of Rangers. He hopes to raise $3,000 as a representation of past, present, injured or disabled soldiers who persevere against challenges.
