Sgt. Daniel Fienco, a utility equipment repairer for 3rd Brigade Combat Team's 307th Engineer Battalion, does push ups for physical training at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 on Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, N.C. The 10-year Army veteran broke his femur after a jump onto Holland Drop Zone in March 2013, but was recovered and running again in just nine months. He participated in a training jump at Fort Bragg later that year. He has completed the All-American Half Marathon and is training to run the New York City Marathon. Now, Fienco is also raising money for a nonprofit that raises money for disabled Rangers and Gold Start families of Rangers. He hopes to raise $3,000 as a representation of past, present, injured or disabled soldiers who persevere against challenges.
